I’m proud to say I’ve had three books published with New Haven Publishing Ltd: Nightmare in Jamaica, Notting Hill Ponces, and a biography of fashion designer Ossie Clark. If you’re curious, you can find them all at www.newhavenpublishingltd.com.

New Haven is a fascinating company in its own right. It was started in 2012 by Norwegian-born author and music journalist Teddie Dahlin, and in just over a decade, it’s grown into a genuine national independent publisher. Based in the UK but trading globally through the Ingram Group, they publish everything from fiction and non-fiction to music biographies, children’s books, and novels. Today, New Haven represents over 120 authors and over 100 active titles, with books stocked by major retailers like WH Smith.

What I admire most is the variety — alongside award-winning titles like Love Factory: The History of Holland Dozier Holland and Bigger Than The Beatles, you’ll also find personal, heartfelt projects by authors who are passionate about their subject. Dahlin herself has written about Sid Vicious and Gary Holton, drawing on her background as a music journalist, which shows how closely connected she is to the industry New Haven often writes about.

Being published through New Haven has been a great experience, and I’m proud my books are part of such a diverse and creative catalogue.
