I want to have fun!

Twenty-two years ago today, I flew back from Jamaica after a harrowing few years with a smile I can't describe. To say I was happy would be an understatement. And I remember thinking that whatever happens, it can only be up after this.

Even though Birkbeck University is on summer break, I’m buzzing to attend the Birkbeck Screenwriting Summer School: The Writer and the Industry. The event will be from Friday, July 11th, to Monday, July 14th, in Room B20 on Malet Street. I've got so many stories buzzing around, and this city inspires me to write endlessly! Although I seem to write more in the depths of winter! I'll enjoy the rest of the summer before I knuckle down again.

Still, this free event has persuaded me to return during this summer break , featuring guests such as BBC writers Simon Nelson and Dominique Moloney, who created the show Puzzle Lady on Channel 5. I look forward to gaining insights on storytelling, pitching, and breaking into the film and TV industry.
